FMP week 4 and 5 (sorry forgot last week)

Last Week I stuck in all my research that I collected in the break and began annotating them all, I completed my final collage piece which reflects the comics code authority and Frederick Wethem's views on comic books and I sketched out a self portrait which over the weekend I photocopied and produced 2 paintings and worked back into a collage I did in the holidays with pen and coloured pencil.

In the style of Alex Ross

In the style of Dave McKean

This week

Tuesday:
On Tuesday I drew out another self portrait and experimented with coloured ink on it. I haven't used coloured ink before so I wanted to test it out since comic's were printed in ink and I wanted to play with the media type. I tested adding pen and mixing inks working with flat colours.

Wednesday:
I stuck in my ink drawings from Tuesday and did some annotation whilst in textiles.
We didn't have a full graphics lesson due to a talk from Wimbledon university so we quickly experimented with masking.
In art history we continued working on choosing a painting from either the national gallery or the MoMA and producing a study of it.

Friday:
On Friday I produced 1 self portrait which I will paint in the style of Jack Kirby (instead of using ink) and I started one in the style of Bruce Timm which I will incorporate assotate into but didn't get it finished due to helping another student in being their photography model.

In the holidays:
In the holidays I did some artwork not all related to my FMP but I'd like to post them anyway. For my collages I created a 3D cardboard collage of the Superman emblem using a comic previews catalogue
The next 2 aren't connected to my FMP but one this one is a charcoal drawing I did of Eric Draven from The Crow which I'm proud of the result
and this is a 3D bust I did of Batman using cardboard, newspaper and modroc, I plan on sanding it down, somehow possibly reproducing a few copies and then painting them
